Back to school starter package
For this project, we spent $873 to give 203 Vietnamese deprived children a back to school starter package and a pep talk as to why education is so important. This project took place in September, when the Vietnamese school year starts. All the families were extremely grateful!!
Most of the children surprised with the school package live, over an hour away, scattered outside of Ho Chi Ming City, Vietnam. And all of their families are extreme financial situations, often having four or more people living in a one-room efficiency. Several families usually sharing the same restroom.
However, thanks to donors like you… every child received: a simple backpack; a water bottle; two notebooks; coloring pencils; a pouch; two pencils; a black and blue pen and a ruler. Thank you for your donations.
