Ta Pong Kindergarten is a small rural school with about 90 students.
In the summertime, they’re dining area is like an oven with its metal walls and metal roof. When we did our initial school visit, we were heart broken to see the children eating on the floor. At that point, the outside temperature was 97 degrees Fahrenheit.
To improve things, we gave the school 10 large tiled tables, 52 plastic chairs, two gas stoves, two gas cylinders and a metal/gas shelf.
The total project cost was $1,096 and took about 4 days to complete this project.
